CALL TO ORDER BY ROBERT AKIN AT 6PM
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE
APPROVAL OF LAST MEETINGS MINUTES WERE CARRIED
NO PUBLIC INPUT
REPORTS
OPERATIONS UPDATE BY DOUG KESSLER THAT NEW PLAQUE FOR
WELL 7 HAS BEEN INSTALLED. ADVISED WELL DOORS ARE IN BAD
SHAPE AND WORKING TO GET QUOTES.
FINANCIALS UPDATE BY CORTNEY GUNTER WAS THAT THE BOOKS
ARE LOOKING GOOD AND PROFIT FOR OCTOBER WAS CLOSE TO
$6000.
OLD BUSINESS
VERIZON TRACKER ON EQUIPMENT UPDATE GIVEN BY CORTNEY
GUNTER THAT THE TRAINING IS ON WEDNESDAY 11/9/2022 AT 2PM
AND ENCOURAGED MEMBERS TO ATTEND. ROBERT AKIN ASK THAT A
PRESENTATION BE GIVEN AT A FUTURE BOARD MEETING.
NEW BUSINESS
VALVES LIST UPDATE GIVEN BY DOUG KESSLER THAT HE HAS STILL
BEEN WORKING ON LIST. DOUG KESSLER MENTIONED CONCERNS
ABOUT HICKORT STREET VALVE AND THAT THE REPAIRS TO VALVES
SHOULD START THERE AND CONTINUE WITH 441.
FIRE HYDRANTS TAG UPDATE WAS GIVEN BY CORTNEY GUNTER THAT
SHE AND DOUG KESSLER MET WITH DANA NICHOLS AND MIKE
WOOD AT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TODAY. CORTNEY GUNTER STATED
THAT THE HYDRANTS ARE NOT ALL MARKED. CORTNEY GUNTER
ADVISED THAT A PACK OF HYDRANTS AND NUMBERS WERE
PROVIDED TO THE WATER AUTHORITY BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
CORTNEY GUNTER ADVISED THAT PAINT, REFLECTOR TAPE AND
OTHER MATERIAL WOULD BE NEEDED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE
YEAR FOR MAINTANCE AND THAT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL
HANDLE. MIKE WOOD INQUIRED ABOUT NWA GETTING A
HYDROLOGICAL STUDY DONE. CORTNEY GUNTER ADVISED SHE
EMAIL MIKE BLEDSOE ABOUT PRICING. ROBERT AKIN MOTION TO
TABLE AND THE MOTION WAS CARRIED.
441 JESUS SAVE PIPE RESTRUCTURE WAS DISCUSSED WITH JIM PEAK,
ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY ALONG WITH RONALD
LONG. JIM PEAK INSISITED THAT NWA FIX THE PROBLEM. JIM PEAK
WAS ADVISED BY ROBERT AKIN THAT THE MATTER HAD TO BE
INVESTIGATED MORE BEFORE A VOTE COULD BE MADE. THERE WAS
A MOTION TO TABLE.
BUILDING PLAN WAS DISCUSSED BY CORTNEY GUNTER THAT
QUOTES WERE BEING GATHERED TO GET SCRAP AND BRUSH
REMOVED, ELECTRIC AND PLUMBING RAN, AND THE WALL AND
DOOR REPLACED. BOARD VOTED TO CONTINUE PROGRESS AND USE
FUNDS FOR SPLOSH. PROJECTS SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE END
OF THE 2022 YEAR.
TANK MAINTANCE WAS DISCUSSED BY CORTNEY GUNTER THAT 2
QUOTES WERE REQUESTED AND ONLY 1 HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
BOARD ADVISED TO REVIEW FOR COMPARISON AND TO FIND OUT
ABOUT WARRANTY AND HOW THE TANK IS CLEANED FROM WATER
LINE DOWN BY DIVING COMPANY.
OTHER- JEREMY OWENSBY WAS CONGRADULATED FOR PASSING HIS
CERTIFICATION TEST. CORTNEY GUNTER ADVISED WE ARE STILL WAITING
ON THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER AND LICENSE TO COME BACK. PAUL
CARTLEDGE HEALTH WAS UPDATED BY ROGER BROCK THAT PAUL IS NOT
DOING WELL AND HAS COME HOME. BOARD DISCUSSED STOPPING BY ON
THE UPCOMING SUNDAY TO SEE HIM. THE VACANY OF OFFICE FORM PUT
TOGETHER BY CORTNEY GUNTER WAS GIVEN TO MIKE PRUETT FOR REVIEW
BY THE BOARD. WORK SESSION WAS PLANNED FOR WEDNESDAY
NOVEMBER 11, 2022, AT 4 PM.
